With a dash of Tabasco

Today is a product review.  Now if you are not a fan of Tabasco sauce or of hot sauce you still need to try this stuff.  I am talking about the chipotle flavor and it is a game changer in the world of sauces.  I give it 5 syringes out of 5 syringes.  My only down side to this stuff is that I can't get the big bottles at the local stores.  You can put this stuff on anything from grilled chicken, steak, potatoes, and eggs.  This is great stuff for diabetics as well.  Use this as a maranade on meat and you need nothing else.  For camping take 2 bottles of this stuff, I even sprinkle it on my salad it is so good.  The Tabasco website describes it as more of a condement and less of a hot sauce.  I think they put just a bit of crack in this stuff it is so adictive and full of warm flavoring.

Here is my simple and fast breakfast that will wow any person you serve it too.  First you start with one egg.

Next you put a couple of dashes of Tabasco chipotle sauce in it.  then you beat the eggs and Tabasco sauce together.

Then you get a nice frying pan on medium to medium hot temp and pour the beaten egg and Tabasco sauce in.

Once the egg starts to turn from liquid into solid you add some cheddar cheese.  I usually add bell peppers, onions, banana peppers or any other kind of pepper even jalapeno (without the seeds).

As you can see from above this is just an omlet.  And I have folded it and am now melting the cheese.

My wife turned me onto using just a tablespoon of fat free sour cream on my omlet and it really brings out the Chipotle flavor.

Then I put 2 table spoons of pace chunky salsa on the omlet.  I do not put tomatoes in the omlet because having a fresh tomatoe does not work so well with the Chipotle flavor but, salsa works real nice just don't over do it.

Last I try to make a funny face or something cute.  I think eating food should always be a positive experience especially with diabetes.  We are so beaten down by people telling us how bad we live our lives that if we just enjoy it with a simple 1 egg omlet in the morning smiling back at us, your day just might turn out to be great!  You might be wondering why a one egg omlet instead of a more traditional two or three egg omlet.  The answer is simple, I have tried them all and the ratio of egg, chipotle sauce, cheese, other added items, sour cream, and salsa is right as a one egg omlet.  Two egg omlets can be done but you will be emailing me later that it is not off the charts so make sure you start with a one egg and if you want to do your own taste test then move on to more eggs and use the one egg as the base line (and it is the best).
